Mr Kashif Qureshi is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at the London Eye Hospital specialising in diseases of the retina. After graduating in 1999 from United Medical and Dental Schools of Guys and St Thomas’s Hospitals he then built up his experience working as an Ophthalmologist for 13 years.
Mr Qureshi specialises in the management an extensive range of eye conditions including: vascular disorders e.g. diabetic eye disease, retinal vein and artery occlusions, ageing conditions affecting the retina such as wet and dry age related macular degeneration (AMD) and inflammatory diseases of the retina and vitreous.
He is very passionate about the development of new techniques and is the principal investigator on the trial of a new laser, which may be used to treat dry macular degeneration.
