Hospitals and clinics providing Womb examination by camera

A hysteroscope is a thin tube with a telescope at the end to look at the inside of the uterus (womb). Minor problems of the uterus can also be treated with the hysteroscope. Common indications for a hysteroscopy are heavy bleeding, bleeding after the menopause, frequent miscarriages, removal of polyps, removal of fibroids and removal of scar tissue from uterus. The hysteroscope is inserted into the uterus through the cervix. Images taken by the hysteroscope are displayed on a computer monitor connected to the hysteroscope. Possible complications are an unpleasant discharge and bleeding.
