Hospitals and clinics providing Ureter stone removal

If a stone in the ureter cannot be passed naturally or broken up with lithothripsy, then and open Ureterolithotomy is neccessary. An incision is made over the ureter and the stone is taken out through an opening in the side of the ureter. The wound is then stitched up. If the stone can be removed with the special telescope, you should be able to leave hospital within 24 hours. Otherwise you should allow seven days or so in hospital.
