Hospitals and clinics treating Jaundice

Jaundice is a condition where there is yellowing of the white part of the eye and the skin. The discolouration is due to the accumulation of bilirubin in the blood. Apart from the discolouration of the eyes and the skin there are also pale-coloured stools and dark coloured urine. There are three types of jaundice which are caused by sickle cell anaemia, dysfunction of the liver and obstruction in bile drainage.
