Hospitals and clinics providing Airways and lungs examination (bronchoscopy)

An instrument called a bronchoscope is inserted into your airways via either the nose or the mouth. You may be either sedated or prefer a general anaesthetic for the procedure. The bronchoscope will allow the specialist to view any possible foreign objects, growths or other obstructions clearly. Biopsies (tissue specimens) may also be taken at the same time and sent to a laboratory for examination. You will be monitored for respiratory distress etc for a time after the procedure before being allowed to leave hospital.

Submit a request for further information, a quotation or indicative cost. Your enquiry will be forwarded to up to 3 private healthcare providers. They will respond directly with further information.
