Dr Stuart Sanders graduated at the University of Leeds in 1960 where he was awarded the Medical School prize in paediatrics. He subsequently went on to gain diplomas in child health and obstetrics.
Dr Sander's considerable experience in family medicine has been recognised with the award of the Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners by Assessment. He has also been presented with medals from the Huntarian Society and The Independent Doctors Federation.
In addition to his expertise in family medicine, Dr Sanders also has a special interest in corporate medicine and he provides medical advice to a number of large organisations. Currently Responsible Officer of The Independent Doctors Federation, he oversees the revalidations of two hundred doctors.
