Dr Farooq Rahman undertook his basic medical training at The Royal Free Hospital School of Medicine in London. He then completed his Gastroenterology specialist training on the prestigious North East London rotation. He obtained his PhD following research into the immunopathogenesis of inflammatory bowel disease.
Dr Rahman is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at University College Hospital and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College London. He is a luminal Gastroenterologist with extensive experience in general gastroenterology and hepatology.
