Mr. Alex Eskander MB, ChB, FRCOG Mr. Eskander obtained his Bachelor degree in 1970 and commenced his postgraduate training in the United Kingdom in obstetrics and gynaecology since 1972 .During this time. He spent two years at the Royal Free Hospital, London, with Professor Ian Craft one of the UK's leading authorities in Assisted Conception and IVF and three years training at King's College Hospital with Professor Stuart Campbell, a world authority in Obstetric Ultrasound and Feto-maternal Medicine. Mr Eskander has been a specialist since 1978 and retired from the NHS in year 2000. He has been working with Ultrasound in Obstetrics & Gynaecology since 1978 years and has a special interest in the use of Vaginal Ultrasound for investigation of abnormal vaginal bleeding since 1994. In 1997 Mr. Eskander presented a paper on this technique at the World FIGO Congress of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Copenhagen. Mr. Eskander has many year's experience in Assisted Conception and IVF as well as Colposcopy for investigation of abnormal Cervical smears and treatment by laser or loop diathermy. Always keen to improve services and raise standards in hospitals. Mr. Eskander has been involved in quality assurance for ten years and has been Chairman of Quality Assurance and advisor to improve patient care and investigation of patients complaints.
